Disc Two: Mount St. Helens 30 Years of Change. This award winning documentary takes stock of the changes on and nearby the site of the largest volcanic eruption in North American recorded history. Surprisingly, the area has rebounded quicker than experts anticipated, and the film looks at the remarkable return of biodiversity to a nearly 100 square blast zone devastated by the volcano. Those who lived through the cataclysm share their experience on film, including law enforcement officers, lumbermen, US Forest Service scientists and professors, who become the central characters to guide the story.
